Well, to update my life thus far, i have finished my french immersion program at Sainte-Anne. THANK GOD! 2 years of living in the middle of nowhere, living in french(somewhat), and being isolated from the real world, was an absolutely unforgettale experience, i mean it! Never going to forget those two years! And on that note, i am glad not to be going back!!! The beginning of this sumer, i painted almost every room in the house and got a full time job working at Tim Horton's. My hours at Timmies were those of an evening shift. 3-11pm or 2-10pm. I liked everyone i worked with, and LOVED the tips we got every night. Even started to like the regulars that came in every day. I am starting my paramedic program at Holland College on Monday!!!! I have everything i need, my uniform, my boots, stethescope, books, everything! I am moving into residence with two of my good friends! It is going to be a blast! Went to Ottawa with Alison to go visit Vera and tour Ottawa!! It was friggin WICKED! The 23hour train ride was alright, we didn't know that we had to make reservations for the dining car at the station before boarding, so we didn't have meal food for the ride. Oh well, we had plenty of snacks to last us. Sleeping was harder than i thought it would be, just couldn't get comfortable, but ended up sleeping for about 5-6 hours. We played cards with another girl our age we met on the train, watched movies, etc. Never had much of a stopover in Montreal, we were there long enough to grab some McD's and then our train was bording in 45 minutes at 9:30am. Two hours later we were in Ottawa, there was a suprising amount of countryside and farmland between Montreal and Ottawa. Vera and her mom picked us up at the train station, the weather was beautiful, sunny, and warm, but not the horrible muggy humid warm of Nova Scotia, a nice dry warm :) We didn't do much sunday night, ate some food, walked to starbucks and went to the music store, bought a guitar book of Coldplay songs. we watched some movies that night and then went to bed :) We were up early Monday morning! up at 7:20am, pancakes for breakfast, and then we rode the buses(one transfer) for an hour or so into downtown Ottawa. We went to Parliment and watched the changing of the guard ceremony, entertaining it was. I have a LOT of pictures. Then we went and toured the parliment buildings and walked around the parliment looking at the statues. Ate lunch at an english-style pub called 'elephant and Castle' Then after that, we went back to Vera's and went to bed. Tuesday, we were up early again, went to Hull and visited the museum of Civilization, which took all day. But it was AMAZING! Walked around Hull for a bit after that, then got a taxi back to Ottawa, then we went to a nice restaurant called Vineyards. It was also a wine bar. Very nice! Had salmon and a rather expensive glass of wine. Then we took the haunted walk tour that evening, very fun, very interesting stories. Wedensday we didn't do much, we went to the museum of Nature, and it was REALLY good!! Took all morning to do :) Then we went to Lonestar, a very american-texas type restaurant, had yummy steak and potatoes. Then we went for a very long walk around ottawa, then Vera showed us her university, it is niec there. We went back to Vera's that night, and watched some movies, we were pretty tired.
Thursday, we had decided, was our day of rest. We did nothing significant that day, slept in late-ish, then took the hour-long busride into town to go to the mall! I bought House season 4 and 2 CD's as well as Reba season 1. Also, we walked around the byward market for a bit, the market is huge! And there were so many interesting things to look at! We had met up with Claire and her boyfriend at a restaurant called 'Zak's' for dinner, it was a pleasant meal, her boyfriend seems really nice :)
Friday, our last day in Ottawa, we went to the museum of Currency, and the Museum of Science and Technology. Then it was back to Vera's for supper, and then we went to the grocery store to buy snacks for the train, stopping at the playground to go on the swings.
Train ride back was better than that of coming up,shorter seeming, and easier to sleep :)
Now i am almost all ready to go back to school!! Soooo excited about this program, even started reading my books!
Anyways, that was my life up-to-date! Going to enjoy my last day home now! Byyye! Current Location: Home Current Mood: mellow Current Music: Stupid Girl--Garbage

Well, oral exam yesterday morning...how did it go? Well, it went, and now it's gone. Pointe finale! In 6 hours i will be writing an essay about a subject i have no interest in.. FUN FUN FUN!!! -_- And then i plan to sleep sleep sleep sleep until that night when me and Willi will hang out, then after that, the LAST soiree fille with Amber and Melissa!! :( I have bought champagne for the occasion. Then FRIDAY.. heh heh heh. Friday, i am writing an exam in the morning, then i am finished.. FINISHED! As in, finished for good with Sainte-Anne FOREVER!!!! ...Not sure how to feel about that... But i know what i am going to do that day after exams... drink. Drink the afternoon, go to the banquet finale buzzed, then drink up for tje rest of the night!! i am excited. I don't even care. Then Saturday...with my possible hangover, i am going to go and wait for mom to come get me at 1:00pm...pack up the car...then i'm outta here baby! On to being a paramedic :D
As for now? WELL it's 3am, and i just walked 1/2 a km to go to beaulieu, the far residence, because i was hungry and they have a vending machine. And nowww i am writing the blogg the procrastination blog. because i have a story to type up, correct, finish, pass in tomorrow, and i am not finished.
I am waiting for my ritalin to kick in really.. because i am screwed over for my work otherwise..
And better yet, i am listening to music. I have had the Brittany Spears song "Break the Ice" as well as "4 Minutes" by Madonna and JT in my head since Quebec. Not cool.. but not minding either. Me and Nic went for our last walk on the beach this afternoon.. took some pics, put them on facebook, which, by the way, i am starting to hate facebook. I start to do work...then end up on facebook -_- anyways i am going to go and finish typing this shiit up! later! Current Mood: chipper Current Music: Break the Ice - Brittney Spears

Well i rather enjoyed my week off, got to rent some movies, relax, sleep in my own bed, and eat homecooked meals! Didn't do too much of anything really, i painted the rest of the hallway, as well as Chris' bedroom walls and ceiling.. the change was rather upsetting to Christopher and it took him a few days to calm down about it. Went clothing shopping with mom, it was my payment for painting Chris' room. Got some nice stuff. New clothing was something i had needed for a while, lol. I was a little downhearted to leave -especially since Christopher was very upset and was crying because i was leaving.. It really astounds me how quicky this year has gone by. But yet as i think of it, the beginning of September seems so long ago.. I realy do have mixed emotions about this being the last 6 weeks of the year.. i am excited about finishing the immersion program and pumped about going to Quebec City. However, I am sad that this IS my last 6 weeks here and sad about leaving the region and the friends i have made here. As well, i am nervous.. can't really figure out why, i am speculating that it has something to do with the fact that i will be hearing from both Maratime School of Paramedicine and Holland College in a month in regards to whether or not i have been accepted into either one of the programs. I have my fingers crossed. Now i think i am going to go and unpack the suitcase that is in the middle of my room :p see ya. Current Mood: indescribable Current Music: Take me Away -- Avril Lavigne

AWW YEAH! I ROCKED my presentation, and got a 78% on the poem i presented Tiesday! Life is GOOD!
I feel like i have knocked down the majority of this brick wall that was this week, only thing left to do now is my essay tomorrow, not going to be a problem, but i'm not getting cocky either! And then the written exam, well, i am not going to not study, that's not smart. I am, however, only going to read my notes over. If i do not know the material now, i will never know it.
Almost finished! Semain d'etude is almost here!

Well it's only a week away! Too bad the week ahead feels like a brick wall i have to run through in order to get to semain d'etudes!
But regardless of that minor detail, i am looking forward to going home. It feels like it has been a very long time, but yet, no time at all since i was last home. I miss everyone back home, and doing this project on autism, it makes me miss Christopher.
So plans over the break? Sure! Mom is now re-painting parts of the house, so when i get home, i am painting Christopher's bedroom ceiling, and the top half of the hallway. Shouldn't take me more than a few hours to do the bedroom, and not any longer to do the hallway. Over the break, me Nicole, Tiffany, and Laura are going to have a girls night! Movie, then out drinking and dancing at Chevy's! I am pretty excited. I will probably go out for coffee with dad a few times, and i have a few new songs on guitar to teach him! :) And i definately want to hang out with Jill sometime over the break, as wel as Alison once she gets back the last weekend.
I will also be very pleased to be back into my room at my house that has HEAT!! Oh baby!! And i will be very happy to get a break from some of the people here in my res and some of the shit that goes in here. For example, this morning, coming back from breakfast to find my bath sponge thown onto the hallway floor by my dirty winter boots! Why? Because god forbid i use a hook on the shampoo rack to hang my sponge! Yeah, like i was SUPPOSED to know that the girls in my corner bought the rack only for themselves! How old are you people??
I am very excited about going home :) i need the break :)

Hmm, first livejournal entry, should be interesting, especially since i was very skeptical of livejournal at first. Don't ask me what changed, i don't know, lol random, spontaneous interest, and the fact that I have a few friends that use this site, has made me curious to check it out. Guess we'll see if i am glad i did or not!
Well it's February now, the semster is flying by so fast! Won't be too long before I am finally finished at Sainte-Anne in April! In a way that makes me a little sad.. overall, I enjoyed my time here, gave me time to think through what I actually wanted to do career-wise.
Speaking of careers, I am very excited to say I have mailed off everything that both Holland College and Maratime School of Paramedicine require for the paramedics program. Things are looking good! Now all I have to do is wait for the reply. I am sort of leaning towards Holland College in terms of wanting to go there. If I chose to go there, I will be in the same residence as two of my good friends, one of which who went to Sainte-Anne with me! So I will have someone to practice my french with on a regular basis! But, if I get into the Halifax program, I would be able to live at home, I might possibly be able to get my own car in order to commute between home and the school, and it would be considerably less expensive for me. I guess I will see what happens.
This semester in Francais Fonctionnel Longue has been going suprisingly well, I think I am doing pretty well with my marks! I also have a tutor this semester, Willi, who is also one of my closer friends here at school :) This semester I will be going to Quebec City with the FF classes in March, we're currently doing fundraising for the trip and will continue to do so until we leave to go. Which is reminding me now how I still have a lot of tickets to sell. So far i have sold about 66/150, all of which i sold around campus before the Christmas break, so some time this week I will probably go out and sell some more..if only i could find the motivation :p
Anyways, I am finished procrastinating now..maybe, and I am going to start actually writing something down for this project i have due in 2.5 weeks! Should be fun, i love cramming :p
